Description
No. 24 Raven Lane is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of brick, with the ground floor being rebuilt in the 20th century, and features a plain tile roof. The building has three storeys and a single-window range, with an 8/8 sash window under a segmental arch and a 4/8 sash window above it. The ground floor has a 20th-century boarded soffit.
The entrance is located to the left, featuring a six-panel door in a moulded case beneath a restored moulded hood supported by scrolled consoles and panelled pilasters. To the right, there is a late 19th-century 3/3 sash window under a segmental arch. Inside, the through passage includes a six-panel door with a frosted overlight on the right and a four-panel door with an overlight on the left. The interior also showcases 19th-century panelling and an exposed wall plate on the ground floor.
