Description
No. 22 Raven Lane is a mid-19th century house constructed from buff brick, featuring a Welsh slate roof that has a shallower pitch at the rear and a brick end stack. The building stands three stories high and has a two-window range. The tall 4/4 casements are positioned under segmental arches and are accompanied by a header band, while the upper floor has 2/2 casements. The entrance is located to the left and consists of a four-panel door with an overlight that includes glazing bars, all set beneath a segmental arch with a header band. To the right of the entrance, there is a late 19th-century tripartite window composed of 1/1, 2/2, and 1/1 sashes, also under a broad segmental arch with a header band. Inside, the house features a stick baluster staircase. This building is included for its group value.
