Stucco; slate to front pitch, plain tiles to rear; brick end stack and common stack. 2-unit plan. 4 storeys and cellar; 2-window range: 8/8 sashes, to 1st and 2nd floors; 4/4 sashes to 3rd floor; moulded wood eaves. Early C20 shopfront with central glazed door and bowed plate glass windows with moulded glazing shafts; to right, 8-panel door and overlight with glazing bars; all under fascia board and cornice, flanked by ornate consoles. Forms a pair with No.7, Castle Street.
