Description

Nos 53 and 54 on High Street in Much Wenlock are early 19th century buildings with plaster covering an earlier timber frame. They are one storey tall with an attic and feature two plain doorways. Number 54 has a 19th century double-fronted shop front with a moulded doorcase, all beneath a moulded wood cornice. The buildings also have four gabled dormers, plain eaves, and old tiles. They are part of a group that includes Nos 40 to 45, the Fox Hotel, and Nos 47 to 49.
