Description

These are a pair of plain stone cottages located on the south side of Much Wenlock High Street. The core of the buildings likely dates back to the 15th century, with the current form largely established in the early 19th century. The cottages are two storeys high, featuring four casement windows and three simple doorways. They are originally roofed with old tiles. Internally, a cruck timber frame is exposed. The cottages are part of a group which includes Nos 9 to 34 (consec), the Gaskell Arms Hotel, and The Old Vicarage.
