Description

Dating to around 1600, 21 and 22 High Street are timber-framed buildings with painted brick facades. They are single-storied with an attic. Number 22, on the right-hand side, has a roughcast exterior. It features four modern three-light casement windows, two ledged doors, and two large gabled dormers covered with old tiles. The buildings are part of a group which includes the Gaskell Arms Hotel and The Old Vicarage.
