Description
This is a cowhouse located approximately 5 metres south of Guilden Down Farmhouse, likely built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. The structure is made of coursed limestone rubble, with a timber frame at the rear that is clad in corrugated iron. It features a roof made of graded slate and corrugated iron. The cowhouse is one storey high with a loft and has a plinth. There are four boarded loft doors, a boarded door on the left side, an off-centre boarded door to the left, and three boarded two-leaf doors on the right side. Additionally, there are two tiers of vents on the right. This building is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
