Cwn Colstey

Cwm Colstey is a house dating from the mid-17th century, with alterations and additions from the 18th century and mid-to-late 19th century. It features a timber frame with plastered infill panels, which have been partly refaced or rebuilt, and extended with painted coursed limestone rubble. The roof is covered with slate and the building is designed in an L-plan. It has two storeys and the framing consists of square panels, with four panels extending up to the wall plate. There are two integral and semi-integral brick end stacks.

On the south front, there are mid-to-late 19th century two-light wooden casements, with three on the first floor and two on the ground floor, the rightmost of which has a segmental head. These flank a sealed segmental-headed boarded door that is off-centre to the left. To the left of the main house, there is a timber framed weatherboarded outbuilding, which is not included in the listing. The entrance is located in the angle of the L at the rear.
