Description
29 Church Street is a 18th-century house located in Nassington. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a Collyweston slate roof. The house originally had a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. The front has a two-window range of 20th-century casements set in original openings, all under wooden lintels. There are three hipped half dormers, each with similar casements. The central plank door, which has a glazed panel, is also positioned under a wooden lintel. The gable parapets are made of ashlar, and there are brick and stone stacks at both ends of the house.
To the left, there is a lean-to that includes a large horizontally sliding casement window with glazing bars, also under a wooden lintel. An outbuilding attached to the right now forms part of the house. The rear elevation is similar to the front, featuring some 20th-century casement windows and a central doorway. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have an open fireplace with a bressumer.
