Farmhouse. Probably late C16 remodelling of earlier house; mid-to- late C19 alterations. Probably timber framed, rebuilt or refaced in limewashed coursed limestone rubble; graded stone slate roof. Hall and cross-wing plan. One storey and attic. Large central stone ridge stack and external brick stack in angle of 'hall' range and cross- wing to front. 2 storey gabled porch off-centre to left with C19 first floor 2-light casement and 4-panelled door (top panels glazed); ground floor C19 three-light casement in 'hall' range to left. Projecting cross wing to right with wide gable, characteristic of this area in the late C16 and C17; C19 three-light attic casement and ground floor 3-light casement in left hand return front. Interior not inspected, but likely to have features of interest.
