Description
This is a cowhouse located about 30 metres south-east of Lower House Farmhouse. It was built in the late 17th century and has some alterations from the early 19th century. The structure is made of rubble and has a corrugated iron roof. In the early 19th century, the eaves were raised in rubble to create loft ventilation slits for the first floor, which features an off-centre left loft door. The ground floor has four entries, each with chamfered wooden surrounds and ledged doors fitted with strap hinges. The right gable includes a segmental-headed loft door. This building is included for its group value.
