Description
This is a cottage located at 94 Gravel Hill, dating from the mid to late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. The building is constructed of brick and features a plain tile roof, along with a brick lateral stack at the rear. It stands two stories tall and has a two-window range with two-light casements. The front includes a 19th-century part-glazed door, with an additional door set within a two-light casement to the left and a one-light casement to the right, all featuring brick cambered lintels. To the right, there is a single-storey wing with a corrugated iron roof, and a lean-to structure at the rear. Inside, the ground floor rooms display exposed joists and a chamfered main beam. The thickness of the front wall indicates that brickwork was added in the 19th century, and the ends of old purlins are visible in the gables.
