Description
109 Corve Street is a house that has been converted into a veterinary clinic. It dates back to the 16th century, with alterations from the 18th and 19th centuries. The building features painted brick and timber framing, topped with a plain tiled gable roof. On the left front, there is an 18th-century brick stack, and another brick stack is located at the rear. The house is two storeys high and has a single-window range, featuring an 18th-century 6/6 sash window under a segmental arch. To the left, there is a 19th-century door, and to the right, a 19th-century 3/3 sash window with a chamfered brick sill, set in an altered opening. The altered brickwork indicates a possible bressummer. At the rear, there is a wing with late 17th or early 18th-century box framing on the first floor, above 18th-century brickwork on the ground floor, and a 20th-century plain tile roof, along with an 18th-century brick stack. There are additional wings as well.
