Description

The ice house, now disused, is located at Weston-under-Hawkstone Park and is believed to date from the late 18th century. It is carved out of a natural sandstone rock outcrop and features a roughly square recess. This recess has a round-headed inner arch that leads to a very short tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, there is a circular egg-shaped cavity of uncertain depth.
