Description

Rhyd-y-Cwm Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated "JOHN LLOYD/1805". It is built of coursed limestone rubble, with the front rendered, and has a slate roof. The building is three storeys high and features integral stone end stacks. It has three bays with segmental-headed glazing bar sashes; however, the outer bays on the ground and first floors have been replaced by mid-to-late 19th century wooden two-light casements. The central entrance consists of a six flush-panelled door, with the top two panels glazed, and it has panelled reveals and soffit. A gabled cast iron lattice porch with quatrefoil panels adorns the entrance. There is a circular date panel located in the centre of the second floor.
