Description
Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century and early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble limestone with gritstone dressings and features a Welsh Blue slate roof that is hipped at one end, with a rendered gable end stack. The building has two storeys plus an additional half storey at the north side.
The south elevation is symmetrical with three bays. It has a central doorway that features a stone surround and a dripmould, with a 20th-century six-panelled door and a semi-circular fanlight above. On either side of the doorway are glazing bar sash windows with raised stone surrounds. The upper floor has three similar windows.
On the north elevation, there is a blocked four-tier stair window with half lights at the top and bottom. To the right, there is a glazing bar sash window and a two-light recessed chamfer mullion window on the ground floor. The first floor has a 20th-century window opening and a two-light square section flush mullion window, while the attic features a small two-light recessed chamfer mullion window.
