Description
Gogin is possibly a former mill that has been converted into a cottage, likely built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. The structure is made of coursed limestone rubble and features a corrugated iron roof. It has a two-room layout with an end lobby entry plan and stands two storeys tall. On the left side, there is an integral stone end stack, and on the right, a 20th-century raking eaves-dormer. The front has two windows, which are mainly mid-to-late 19th century wooden two-light casements, and there is a boarded door to the left. To the right, steps lead to a first-floor boarded door, accompanied by a three-light window and weatherboarding beneath. The building was likely originally thatched, as indicated by the weathering on the stack at ridge level. The interior has not been inspected.
