Description

The Jones Memorial is a pedestal tomb located approximately 3 metres south of the Church of St Mary, dated 1824. It is made of sandstone ashlar and features a chamfered plinth, a moulded cornice, and concave capping that supports a swagged urn finial. The tomb has sunken panels and is inscribed with the words: "In memory of/Edward Jones/late of Moat in this Parish/who departed this Life Feb 9/1824 : aged 64 years."
