Description

The Jones Memorial is a pedestal tomb located approximately 38 metres north of the north aisle of the Church of St George. It dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of sandstone ashlar. The tomb features a moulded plinth, sunken panels, a moulded cornice, and ogee capping. It is dedicated to Edward Jones and is an example of the classic 18th-century design.
