Description

The ice house, located approximately 120 meters southeast of The Citadel, is a disused structure from the early 19th century. It is built from rubblestone and red brick. The entrance features a round-headed arch with 20th-century stable-type doors and is accessed via a straight flight of steps. Inside, there is a short tunnel that leads to an infilled cavity at the end.
