Description
This is a pair of houses built in the early 18th century, with later additions and alterations. The houses are constructed of red brick, topped with a double-span slate roof and integrated chimney stacks at the right gable end, which has been truncated and slate-hung. The three-storey facade features a moulded wooden eaves cornice, floor bands, and pilasters to the left and centre. It has a seven-window front with hornless glazing bar sashes, each window with a segmental head. The entrances are located in the second and fifth bays from the left, featuring four-panel doors; the top panel of the door on the right is now glazed. Above each entrance is a moulded wooden hood supported on modillion brackets. Late 19th-century canted bays with sash windows have been added to the right of each entrance.
