No. 2 Upper Brook Street is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the early 19th century and has undergone later additions and alterations. The building is constructed of red brick and features a plain concrete tile roof with an integral end stack on the right side. It stands three storeys high and has a dentilled eaves cornice. The front has two windows with glazing bar sashes. To the left, there is a wooden Tuscan doorcase that contains a 20th-century half-glazed door and a rectangular overlight. The right side of the ground floor has late 20th-century shop windows, and the entire ground floor is clad in late 20th-century weatherboarding. This building, along with No. 2 Upper Church Street, is situated at a prominent junction and is included for its group value.
