Description
No. 32 Upper Brook Street is a house that has been converted into offices. It was built in 1724, as indicated by the datestone, and has undergone later additions and alterations. The building is constructed of reddish brown brick and features a slate roof with integral end stacks, which have been rebuilt in 20th-century red brick. It stands two storeys high and has a floor band. The front has three windows, with 20th-century casements; the ground floor windows have segmental heads. There is a central entrance with a four-panel door and a rectangular overlight, all set under a segmental arch. The datestone "D/JA/1724" is located on the right gable end. At the rear, there is a 19th-century brick lean-to range.
