PONTESBURY CP ASTERLEY Outbuilding approximately 10 metres south west of Asterley Hall

GV II Outbuilding. Probably late C18. Red brick with crow-step gables, corrugated iron roof. Two levels; stable door to right with inserted hatch under cambered arch above to left; five rows of air vents.

INTERIOR: double-purlin roof in two unequal bays with tie beam and collar truss. C20 brick lean-to to right and covered passage-way linking building to Asterley Hall (q.v.) are not included.
