Description

Milestone located approximately 15 meters north-west of Quarry Cottages. This milestone dates from the mid to late 19th century and is made of white painted stone with a black base and lettering. It features a rounded, ledged top. The top is lettered "MILES" radially, with "B.CASTLE 4" and "SHREW(S)BURY/16" inscribed on it.
