Description
No. 35 Broad Street is a house dating from around 1750. It is built of brick and has a plain tile roof with a brick stack on the left front. The house is two stories high with an attic and features a four-window range of 6/6 sash windows that have broad glazing bars, all set under gauged brick flat arches. There are two gable dormers, each with pediments above 3/3 sash windows, and the eaves are moulded brick.
The entrance is located to the centre right and consists of a six-fielded panel door with an ornamental light above, framed by a shouldered architrave and topped with a moulded pediment hood supported by enriched consoles. To the left of the entrance are two 6/6 sash windows, and to the right is one 6/6 sash window, with a brick pilaster on the left side. This building was constructed at the same time as No. 36 Broad Street.
