Description

This is a late 18th-century house located on Broad Street in Ludlow. The building is brick with a plain tile roof and a brick stack on the front left side. It has a cellar and an attic, and is arranged over two storeys with a four-window front. The upper windows are 6/6 sashes with broad glazing bars, set within gauged brick flat arches. The building has moulded brick eaves, and includes two gable dormers with wooden pediments. A 3/3 sash window is to the left of the dormers, and a 20th-century plain casement window is to the right. The left side of the front has a fielded panel door with an ornamental fanlight, set within a shouldered architrave with a moulded pediment hood supported by enriched consoles, accompanied by a brick pilaster. To the right of the door are three 6/6 sash windows. The building appears to have been constructed as part of a single design with the adjacent property at No.35 Broad Street.
