Description

No. 30, Broad Street is a house dating from the early 19th century, likely built on an earlier core. The construction is brick, with a plain tile roof and a brick end stack to the front right. The house is two storeys and an attic, with a two-window facade. It has 8/8 and 6/6 sash windows within broad, moulded surrounds, each with a segmental brick arch above. Moulded brick eaves run along the top of the facade, and two gable dormers are present, each with a three-light casement window and moulded wood eaves. The left-hand entrance features a six-panel door within a moulded case, topped by a flat hood with a festooned frieze resting on plain pilasters. To either side of the door are sash windows: an 8/8 sash to the left and a 6/6 sash to the right.
