Description
Nos 2 and 4 Willow Street is a house, which was formerly part of a row and is now a shop. It dates from the early 19th century and has undergone later additions and alterations. The building is constructed of stuccoed and rendered brick, topped with a slate roof featuring red and yellow brick ridge and end stacks. It occupies the right half of a row that follows the curve of the street, while the left half has been demolished. The structure has three storeys and a moulded eaves cornice. It features three bays that are divided by plain pilasters, with glazing bar sashes and a round-arched opening in the centre bay on the first floor. The ground floor has a late 20th-century shop front. The left half of the row, which was formerly No 6 Willow Street, was demolished in 1985.
