Description
Nos 18 and 20 Willow Street is a house that has been converted into two shops. It was remodeled in the late 18th century, although it incorporates elements from an earlier building, along with later additions and alterations. The exterior is rendered and painted brick, which may be hiding a timber frame, topped with a slate roof. The structure has two storeys and an attic, featuring a dentilled eaves cornice on the left side (No 20). The front has three windows, with four-panel sash windows that have segmental heads, and there are hip-roofed eaves dormers on both the left and right sides. The shop fronts were added in the late 20th century. There is a red brick internal end stack on the left side. The steep-pitched brick gables at the rear likely belong to the earlier building.
