Description
This is a barn located approximately 20 meters north-east of Nupend Farmhouse. It is possibly from the 17th century, with 18th-century additions that are now obscured by 20th-century alterations. The barn is timber-framed and features a sandstone plinth, with part of its walls having slatted infill and part woven cleft oak infill, topped with a tiled roof. It consists of seven bays aligned north to south, with 20th-century additions on the west and east sides that are not of special interest. The structure has three square panels that run from the sill to the wall-plate and includes V-struts in the gable. Nupend Farmhouse itself is not included in this listing.
