House, now public house. Early C19. Rendered brick or sandstone, hipped Welsh slate roof and brick stacks. Rectangular plan aligned north-west/ south-east. Three storeys. South-east elevation has 2 x 3 windows, early C19 tripartite glazing bar sashes with segmental heads, ground floor has high canted bay windows, dentilled brick eaves cornice. Entry in return elevation to road between a pair of tripartite segmentally headed sashes. (RCHM Vol I, p 32-3).
