Description
Riverside Lodge is a house that has been converted into a public house. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of rendered brick or sandstone with a hipped Welsh slate roof and brick chimneys. The building has a rectangular plan that is aligned north-west to south-east and stands three storeys tall.
The south-east elevation features two sets of three windows, which are early 19th-century tripartite glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. The ground floor includes high canted bay windows and a dentilled brick eaves cornice. There is an entrance located in the return elevation to the road, situated between a pair of tripartite segmentally headed sashes.
