Description

The White Lion is a house that has been converted into a public house, dating back to 1779 as indicated by a tablet on the building. It is constructed from square sandstone with a Welsh slate roof and features brick stacks at either end. The building has a cellar and three storeys. The façade includes three windows with segmentally headed casements, featuring two lights in the centre and three lights on both the left and right sides, while the top storey has square-headed windows. A central gabled slate canopy is positioned above a mid-20th century ledged door set in a segmentally headed doorway. Inside, the ground floor rooms are noted for their heavy ceiling beams.
