Description
Wye Riverside Stores is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the 18th century. It features painted brick and roughcast with a Welsh slate roof and brick stacks. The building has a rectangular plan oriented north-west to south-east and stands two storeys tall with an attic.
On the north-east elevation, there are five windows arranged in two rows, all of which are glazing bar sashes with projecting keystones above them. The elevation also includes four hipped dormers, each containing a two-light casement window. The right-hand side has quoins and a verge. The shop front, which dates from the late 19th to early 20th century, has a central entry that extends beneath the second and third windows from the left.
The north-west gable features a six-panelled door on the left side, with a central attic window and additional sashes that match those on the main elevation. Quoins are present on each side of this gable as well.
