Description

This is a milepost located in Bridstow, likely dating from the mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron and features angled sides and top on a curved and angled stem. The main face has raised lettering that reads "BRIDSTOW PARISH TO ROSS 19 MILES MONMOUTH." There is also an oval plaque on the left side of the stem, which includes the raised lettering "PERKINS & BELLAMY ROSS."
