Description
The Farmers Public House is a house that has been converted into a public house, dating from the 18th century or earlier. It is constructed of coursed squared rubble with timber lintels, and features a 19th or 20th century brick gable on the left side, along with two brick chimneys and a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys, a cellar, and an attic.
The front has a three-window range of sash windows with glazing bars and horns. The left section has been rebuilt using concrete lintels. The central entrance features a 20th-century part-glazed door, with a low plank door to the cellar on the right. There is also an insurance plaque on the building. A small rendered gabled dormer on the roof has a fixed window with glazing bars. Inside, the structure includes roughly chamfered girders and floor joists, and the room at the rear on the right has a fireplace with a chamfered bressumer.
