Description

This barn, located about 30 yards east of Hallaston, is likely from the 18th century. It features a sandstone rubble plinth and a timber frame topped with a corrugated iron roof. The barn has a rectangular three-bay layout that runs from northwest to southeast. On the southwest side, there is a central wagon entry with four-leaved ledged doors. The frame consists of three panels high from the cill to the wall-plate. Inside, the barn has trusses supported by raking struts.
