Barn Circa 40 Metres East Of Hall O' Th' Hill Farm

This barn, located approximately 40 metres east of Hall o' th' Hill Farm, likely dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed sandstone rubble with quoins and features a concrete tile roof. The barn has a rectangular plan with six bays, and there is a later single-storey addition on the south side.

There are breather openings on two levels, with four levels present in the gables. The former opposed wagon doors in the centre have been altered, with part of one cheek remaining on the north side. The left (east) end wall contains two wide segmental-headed doorways that are both blocked, along with a square opening at flat floor level. The right (west) end has three ground floor doorways with jamb stones and rectangular lintels, all of which are blocked. Additionally, there is a matching square opening at first floor level, a moulded gable coping with kneelers, and a small finial at the apex.
