Description
Wigan Lodge to Duxbury Park is an early 19th-century gate lodge constructed of ashlar and rubble, featuring a low hipped slate roof with a central chimney. The building is single-storey and symmetrical in design. A projecting rectangular bay faces the drive, flanked by panelled pylons, with a recessed centre that contains a sashed window with glazing bars and a panelled apron. Each side wall of the bay has a similar window, and the structure is topped with a moulded cornice and a plain parapet. The walls on either side of the bay have ramped coping, and there is a plain doorway located in the left return wall.
