Description
Canal Bridge Number 74, also known as Winstanley Bridge, is a Grade II listed structure located over the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, originally part of the Lancaster Canal South End. It was likely built in the 1790s and is constructed from stone. The bridge features an elliptical arch and has buttressed piers at each end. The walls are battered and curve inwards towards the center, adorned with bands and parapets that have rounded coping.
