Description
Chorley Lodge to Duxbury Park is an early 19th-century gate lodge designed in the Greek Revival style. It is constructed of ashlar with a slate roof and features a chimney on the rear gable. The building has a T-plan and is single storey. The entrance faces the drive and includes a projecting temple front with Greek Doric columns arranged distyle in antis, along with pilastered corners. A plain frieze and cornice encircle the building. The openings have shouldered architraves, and the arms of Standish are carved into the tympanum above the entrance.
