Description

CANON PYON CP - SO 44 NE 5/15 Barn about 40 yards south of Kinford Farmhouse GV II Barn. Probably C18. Sandstone rubble plinth with weatherboards on timber- framed and corrugated iron roof. Rectangular seven-bay plan aligned roughly east/west. North elevation has central two-leaved full-height ledged doors. The left and right are obscured by mid-C20 additions with corrugated iron cladding. Interior has thin framing, one rectangular panel high from cill to wall-plate. Trusses have raking struts from ties to principals. (RCHM, Vol II, p 48).
