Description

This barn, located about 20 yards northeast of Ordis Farmhouse, is likely from the 18th century or early 19th century. It features a rubble plinth and is timber-framed, covered with weatherboards and topped with a corrugated iron roof. The barn has three-and-a-half bays oriented roughly north to south. On the west elevation, there are full-height ledged doors with a segmental head to the right of the center, and double-leaved doors with a loft door in the half bay to the left. A 20th-century lean-to is present on the right side. Inside, there are raking struts connecting the ties to the principals, and the barn is part of a complete farm unit.
