Description
Seabourne House, also known as Sutton St Nicholas Post Office, is an 18th-century house constructed of rendered brick with a slate roof and end stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays, with the main façade facing north. It features glazing bar sash windows and a central 6-panelled 18th-century door that is sheltered by a hood supported by brackets. To the right, there is a single-storey extension. The garden front at the rear includes two ground floor bay windows that are deeply curved in plan, also with glazing bar sashes. The gable ends have lunettes in the attics on either side of the end stacks. Additionally, there is a single-storey brick extension on the right side that has a timber-framed gable made of thin irregular scantling.
