Description
Court House Farmhouse is a farmhouse that may date from the late 17th century or 18th century, with later enlargements in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of brick, featuring some timber-framed panels at the top of the rear wall, and has a hipped slate roof with end stacks. The building has three storeys and measures three by two bays.
On the north-east entrance front, the centre bay is slightly advanced, with a raised brick band at the first floor level. It has segment-headed glazing bar sashes, which are smaller on the second floor. Above the early 19th-century door, which has six panels (the top four of which are glazed), there is a flat hood and a transom light. To the right side, there is a single-storey lean-to that has a late 19th-century sash window.
