Description

This barn, located about 30 yards north of the Town House, is likely from the 18th century. It features a timber frame with weatherboards resting on a sandstone rubble plinth and has a concrete tiled roof. The barn consists of six bays arranged roughly east to west. On the north elevation, there are double-leaved weatherboarded doors positioned to the right of the center. The frame includes three square panels extending from the cill to the wall-plate. Inside, the structure has trusses with collars supported by two posts from the ties, and the end gables are supported by three posts between the ties and collars, with V-struts above.
