Description
This barn, located about 20 yards south of Court Farmhouse, is likely from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with some later alterations. It features a sandstone rubble plinth and an extension. The structure is timber-framed and has a weatherboarded roof made of corrugated iron. The barn consists of four plus one bays oriented east to west, with a projecting arm to the north. The south elevation includes a full-height entry with two-leaved ledged doors, positioned to the left of the center, and a rubble extension on the right side. The frame is two panels high from the cill to the wall-plate. Inside, there are pegged collar trusses and wind-braces, while the west gable displays scissor struts. This barn is included for its group value.
