Description
Gannah Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the 17th century, with later alterations and extensions. It is constructed from sandstone rubble with brick dressings and features hipped Welsh slate roofs to the north. The building has an irregular rectangular plan aligned northwest to southeast, and it consists of a cellar and two storeys.
On the southwest elevation, there are two early 20th-century two-light casement windows set in brick segmental arches. The ground floor has a similar window centrally located beneath the two above. To the left, there is a lean-to that contains a doorway and surrounds a side stack. The north elevation features two cross-casement windows with segmental heads on each floor, and beneath these are two cellar openings with similar heads. The interior has not been inspected. The farmhouse is included for its group value.
