Description
This is a barn located approximately 30 meters south of Old Court, dating from the 17th century with some minor later additions. It features a timber frame with a sandstone rubble plinth and gable ends, along with sandstone rubble lean-to additions and corrugated metal roofs. The barn consists of four bays aligned in a north-west to south-east direction, with a threshing floor situated to the south-east of the center, flanked by lean-to additions on the south-west front. The framing includes two square panels extending from the sill to the wall-plate, and the trusses have two vertical struts supporting the collar. Notably, the north-west end truss has been reconstructed in the 20th century. This barn is included for its group value.
