Description

Grove Farmhouse is a building dated 1707, although it likely has origins from the 17th century, with some alterations made in the late 19th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a Welsh slate roof. The farmhouse has a T-shaped plan with a cross-wing at the east end and an east-facing porch that displays the date. The gable-end stacks are also notable. The east front has two storeys and includes three glazing bar sash windows with brick surrounds, along with a central gabled porch. The interior is not accessible, but it is reported to retain a plank-and-muntin panelled screen and chamfered ceiling beams.
